Lovely fabric, terrible sizing

"I really love the pique fabric used in this jacket - it's both lightweight and very comfortable. But that's kinda irrelevant when the jacket runs so large. This is my first jacket from 34 heritage, but the sizing is just off. It's too large in both the shoulders and chest and far too long for my 5'9" inch frame. For reference, I bought a 38 (my normal jacket size) but it fits more like a 40. Moreover, don't even bother with this jacket if you are under 6'. The sleeves and torso are cut very long. Such a pity - would have been five stars if the sizing were more appropriate."
